Welcome back! I've been working on the plan for my Magic trivia puzzle magnum opus, aiming to have it out on Christmas once again. This will more than likely be the last puzzle I make on this scale, I've enjoying upping the ante each time but getting enough trivia to actually fill out each puzzle has been tough, so I want to finish the trilogy with a bang. That's why I'm opening submissions to the public once again!
This time, I'm looking for any and all Magic-related trivia with no restrictions. Whether it's about story, art, rules, tournament history, flavor text, stuff that isn't tournament legal like un-cards or Alchemy cards, or whatever other incredibly obscure bullshit you can think of. I'm hoping that, with these submissions being left open for several months, that we'll be able to collect lots of great trivia and make this puzzle the best it can be!
And yes, I didn't say Crossword! I've got a fairly ambitious plan for the grand finale, we'll see how it winds up working. (No promises at this stage.) With that in mind, you won't be submitting the trivia in terms of crossword clues. You can just submit it as a sentence, or in whatever freeform format you want. For example, just writing something like "Snowblind is the only card with the word 'smaller' in its Oracle text." would be perfect. Don't worry too much about the wording, if you're ever in doubt just submit whatever you can think of.
As always submitting is no guarantee your trivia will make it onto the puzzle, but I'll make sure to credit everyone whose stuff I use. Thanks for your interest!
