The Yellow Box Files is a compilation of articles and documentation on my journey designing The Yellow Box, a Magic: The Gathering cube optimized for play with anywhere between 2 and 6 players, all on a low budget and fitting everything you need in one yellow deck box.
This page will include articles about the design of this cube in particular, as well as general pieces on designing for several of its game modes (including 2 player Grid Draft and 6 player Rotisserie Draft). I'll also be compiling "patch notes" whenever I update the cube list. My hope is that I can help encourage people to build fun cubes for smaller groups, especially for 2 players! The cube's been a lot of fun to put together and play, and I hope I can share that with all of you.
